If we could improve..(quick update)

If we had more time to work, re film and edit the things i would change would be...

Get to know the equipment better, maybe we could of still shot in the  if we had known about the ND filter and the dedo lights.

Changed the reversed death shot, add moving images in the backdrop so the piece looked reversed.

Some shots were the tiniest bit shaky, e could of gone back and made sure they were perfect.

Change the storyline for depth and drama.

Risk assessment

RISK ASSESSMENT:

Whilst filming in Coppetts Wood we had to be aware of all risks before shooting.

There were lots of thorns and nettles that could of injured us so e had to take extra care whilst walking and make sure we didn't trip over the shrubs.

The mud was swamp-like in some areas and that was problem due to slipping and getting stuck. We had to go around the swampy areas to avoid getting dirty and damaging the cameras.

The weather was risky as it was very cold and the protagonist had to lie on the muddy ground some time. We had to make sure she was warm and that we took essential breaks between shots. Also it began to rain at one point so covering the equipment was key!

Height risk of filming high up in case of dropping the camera, we had to insure that the camera was stable at all times.

As it got dark we had to be more wary of the equipment and our surroudings.

The positive feedback really helped us to finish the editing right at the end. It was really motivational to know people thought our film was well made. We put so much work into it and it all paid off.

Personal Feedback(Matthew)

After so many days shooting and so many days of endless filming we really did pull through. The film looks great, the motion now as best as we can do, the music is emotive and dramatic and sets the scene perfectly and the editing is good as far as i can see. I learnt so much about final cut pro during my time in the editing suite and really enjoyed the entire experience. If i could change one thing it would be the death scene as my camera work was a little shaky which unnerved me... if only we had a track. All and all it was amazing and worthwhile!

Personal Feedback (Heather)

Looking over our finished product i am proud to be able to say i am super happy with how it all worked out. We have had so many problems along the way:
Motion, dedo lights, ND filters the LOT! but we pushed through and made something great. Our friends helped us so much with the acting and makeup and they really deserve a massive thank you for waiting out with us through the long dark weather we came across during filming. Matthew was so amazing with the camera work and all the crazy editing he did, he was so dedicated he spent eight hours int the suite just working on our film. Motion was really fun to use and have learnt so much from using it seven or eight times to get our motions perfect. Over all the film looks great and we really put our all into it. If i could change anything it would all be to have some movement in the reversed death scene as you cant tell it is reversed due to the stillness of that shot,
