DONNA'S FEEDBACK
ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT :
CHANGE THE HEADER ON THE BLOG TO THE TITLE OF OUR FILM
-Make sure its of the title we are going to use (stitches).
CHANGE THE TITLE OF THE INTERVIEW WITH HEATHER
- change it to the interview with the actress/protagonist.
CHANGE THE BACKGROUND OF THE BLOG TO BLACK
- the blue contrasts too much, monochrome always works.
INTERVIEW WITH THE DIRECTOR AND ANOTHER CHARACTER FROM THE FILM
-Get their take on how filming is going.
POST SOME OF THE SHOTS WE HAVE TAKEN AND WILL DEFINITELY USE IN OUR FILM
- give a run down on what we have already achieved and what has ben successful.

Hitchcock inspiration:
In our youth drama we will be focussing on a close up shot of the protagonist's eye once she is dead.

Close up (practice) shot of eye. |
Looking at work by Hitchcock we have gotten some great inspiration of ways to film our protagonist's eye. (Hitchcock eyes.)

Psycho shower scene. |
In this specific scene Hitchcock went from water going down a drain and faded into the victim's eye. This would be a good starting point for out youth as it is easy to replicate. Instead of using a drain we could you the moon, sun or the ground for example.

Character influences
The character I will be playing will be very similar to the character played by noel clarke in the film kidulthood. Charecter Sam Peel is the main antagonist within the stories plot and is played by Noel. I feel the way In which noel plays this chartecter is very effective and enables him to stand out from the rest of the charecters as the main antagonist. The relationship between sam and his partner is almost exactly the same as the one we intend to recreate in our film, so I decided to watch kidulthood again to take some tips from noel that I can implement into my charecter.
I found that throughout the film Noel is extremly agressive towards the other charecters, even more so to females, ive decided to interpret this theme into my charecter and try to appear in control throughout our film.
The protagonist always has the audience on their side, Heather channeled this through her acting and we put the emotive use of a letter to her mum to tug on the audiences heart strings.
By hiding the antagonists faces it adds mystery and stealth to the 'bad guys'.
