29.Sound design

The sound effects we intend to use for our film are :

• A kettle Boiling 
• A deep Exhale 
• The slam of a door 
• Clink of a baseball bat hitting the floor 
• A sound track that throughout the slow motion rewind scene

The website gives us a number of free samples available to download for each of the sounds we require.

These non-diegetic sounds will be placed in sync with moving images shown throughout our film for example the Baseball Bat Sample will be used at the same time the screen shows an out of focus character who had the weapon concealed releasing it from the sleeve of their jacket and it hitting the floor causing the metal clink sound.

There will be a soft instrumental track playing throughout the rewinded scene, in order to enhance the emotion we intend to portray at the time. This track will be created by myself using logic pro 9 and will be placed in the film using Final Cut Pro.  We intend to have the piano track Bounced and Ready to use by Monday 9th February.
